Custom dilemma games for businesses and organisations

Dilemmas that create lasting learning

You know your complex challenges. I help turn them into focused dilemmas that encourage people to take a stand, explain their reasoning and consider different perspectives.

Example

A new competitor challenges your market

A new player offers a simpler, cheaper solution. Some want to react quickly. Others want to protect quality and stick to the current strategy.

A

Defend your position

Lower the price and protect your existing customers.

B

Stay the course

Maintain quality and direction rather than reacting in panic.

C

Disrupt yourselves

Create a simpler alternative, even if it challenges your own business.

Why are dilemma games an effective learning method?

The most important questions rarely have just one right answer

People constantly face choices where different considerations pull in different directions. A good dilemma makes the options concrete enough to take a stand, yet balanced enough for several responses to make sense.

Lasting learning grows out of uncertainty: discussing why you prefer one option over another.

How we work together

From our first meeting to the finished game

You contribute your knowledge of your organisation. I develop the game, and together we make sure it reflects your reality.

  1. We meet

We clarify your needs, audience and the issues the game should address.

  2. I develop a draft

I turn your input into a draft with dilemmas, response options and consequences.

  3. We test and refine

At a second meeting, we test the game and agree on revisions that make the content relevant and clear.

  4. I deliver the game

I incorporate the revisions and deliver the final game as a PDF, ready to print or send to a printer.

Play together online

The dilemmas can also be developed into a digital format where participants join the same game using a shared code or digital room.

This requires a separate development process and is priced according to scope.

Facilitation

Use the game in your organisation

I offer Train the Trainer sessions that prepare you to run the game yourselves and facilitate good discussions about the dilemmas. I can also facilitate sessions directly with employees, managers or other audiences.

The conversation matters more than the answer

The interesting part happens between participants

A dilemma game is not about guessing the correct answer. Its value comes from participants explaining their choices, challenging each other's assumptions and hearing arguments they had not considered.

That is why I often work with small groups of 2–3 people, preferably using physical materials. When a group has to agree on a response, reflection becomes part of the game itself. Whole-group debriefs encourage further reflection and let participants share experiences across groups.

A good dilemma can make it hard to agree.

Complete confidentiality

A safe setting for difficult conversations

The most important dilemmas often touch on sensitive issues. Internal cases, conflicts and strategic considerations can be handled in complete confidence, so you can work openly with what is really at stake in your organisation.

We agree on confidentiality arrangements before work begins. If needed, we can enter into a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

How does a custom dilemma game differ from Kahoot, Mentimeter and other learning platforms?

Kahoot, Mentimeter and similar solutions are digital tools where organisations typically create and enter their own content. Dilemmaspil.dk takes a different approach: we develop the content with you, turning your professional knowledge and real challenges into dilemmas, response options and consequences.

The typical deliverable is a physical game that is printed and played in small groups. Participants gather around the dilemmas, discuss the options and make their choices together. There is no need for a new platform, user accounts or a screen between participants.

The focus is on the content and the reflection, conversation and decision-making that create learning, rather than on software or quizzes.
